Volunteers Make Stable Happen!

Volunteers! Thank you for making Stable happen again!

You are what makes the Stable come alive! Through the way we dress, speak, work, trade and welcome people, we create the excitement, wonder and realism that helps visitors imagine life 2,000 years ago.  Our hope is that people won’t just hear the Christmas story—they will see it, feel it, and experience it in its context.

You are part of the Christmas story. As a Stable volunteer, you have an opportunity to help people step back in time and experience what Bethlehem may have been like in the days surrounding the birth of Jesus.

Bethlehem was 2,000 years ago, but the story didn’t end there.  It continues today—and you are part of it.  For some people, what they see and experience at the Stable may be the first time they truly understand who Jesus is, why His birth matters, and why this story is still relevant today.
