Impact Summer
Get ready for 7 days of non-stop adventure and growth! From conquering high ropes at YWAM Precinct to celebrating at The Stable Christmas, while strengthening your faith through engaging discussions and activities!
Sing to the Lord
A celebration of how good God is! Combined with the beautiful
acoustics of the church, it will be a time to celebrate God, reflect on
His goodness and get excited about what He is going to do during Stable
this year!

Come and join us for a quieter, magical night at Stable at Riverway. All your favorite Stable activities and so much more. Town of Bethlehem…Food trucks…FREE tea, coffee and Christmas cake….Entertainment…Stable Express….Face Painting…Side Show Ally and lots more for Children, youth and adults.
There will be a wheel chair accessible bus to bring some of you to Stable and a buggy for transport around the park.

In 2022, our 21st year, we will again bring Stable at Riverway. It’s a much larger space, where we can have heaps of different activities, attract new people but still have all our favourite scenes and props to tell the wonderful story of Christmas.

Oasis of Hope
A place for tired Mums and Dads. A place to retreat from the busyness and stresses of life. A new space where you can sit quietly, breathe, enjoy a hand massage, have some of your immediate needs met, receive prayer, or just have a cuppa and chat.
Star Show Alley
Star Show Alley is a family and youth space with some old style activities like ‘knock ‘em downs’, skittles, and family and team challenges. There is a place for youth to hang out with giant games like Jenga, chess and checkers, a Christmas quiz and lots of prizes. Every night there will be fun on the sports arena at 7.30pm. A fabulous space for youth!
Tea, Coffee and Christmas Cake
Come to the Townsville Catholic Education Raintree Grove, a beautiful natural space under the trees to shelter in the evening breeze and enjoy the return of our free tea, coffee and Christmas cake.
The Yarning Circle
The Yarning Circle is an exciting new unifying space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will share Christmas, their faith and their culture in an interactive way through music, art, dance, weaving and storytelling. A place for barriers to break and understanding to grow.
Stable Express
Toot toot! This year you can catch the train around the event. Wait at the station for the next train!
Preview Night for Seniors and those with disabilities
On Saturday 17th December we welcome our Seniors and those with Disabilities who would like a quieter night.
We would love a crowd to test our event for 2022. It’s a quieter night but you can see the Town of Bethlehem, enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee and a piece of Christmas Cake, listen to music at one of our small stages and there will be activities for the kids and youth. A lovely night under the Rain trees at Riverway.
Volunteer Orientation and Thank you night
ALL VOLUNTEERS are invited and encouraged to attend an orientation meeting at Riverway on Friday 16th December. Join us at 6:00 p.m. for a sausage sizzle and then a ‘meet your leader, and answer all your questions session?’ – where do I go? am I in costume? Where do I change? Where do I park? Etc.

Stabel on the Streets
This year, Stable on the Streets, the interactive family drive-by experience, is back! Throughout the year we are extending an invitation for people to create a display of the Christmas message in their space and register it on our website from December 1, an interactive map will come alive and allow people to drive around and see the visual displays depicting the message of Christmas.
Start with a Star and grow your idea from there! We can’t wait to see Townsville lit up over the Christmas period, spreading a message of hope, love and joy.
