Stable on the Streets

This year, Stable on the Streets, the interactive family drive-by experience, is back! Throughout the year we are extending an invitation for people to create a display of the Christmas message in their space and register it on our website from  December 1, an interactive map will come alive and allow people to drive around and see the visual displays depicting the message of Christmas.

Start with a Star and grow your idea from there! We can’t wait to see Townsville lit up over the Christmas period, spreading a message of hope, love and joy. 

Here are some specific ways you can get involved:

  • Buy a Stable on the Streets star or create a star and put it in a highly visible space.  Stars can be purchased from our Stable on the Strand office  YWAM building 215 Walker Street, City. Release that creativity on your own, with your family or friends and create a display in your space – modern, funky, old, traditional, big or small.

  • Register your display here.

  • Share your music talents by carolling in your neighbourhood or busking

    • If you would like to register to sing in your own space, Register here.

    • If you would like to register to sing in a public space by yourself or with a group, Register here.

  2. Unlock activities by submitting codes in the space provided on the map

  3. Try to complete as many activities as you can with your car buddies.
