In 2022, our 21st year, we will again bring Stable at Riverway. It’s a much larger space, where we can have heaps of different activities, attract new people but still have all our favourite scenes and props to tell the wonderful story of Christmas.

Oasis of Hope

A place for tired Mums and Dads. A place to retreat from the busyness and stresses of life. A new space where you can sit quietly, breathe, enjoy a hand massage, have some of your immediate needs met, receive prayer, or just have a cuppa and chat.

Star Show Alley

Star Show Alley is a family and youth space with some old style activities like ‘knock ‘em downs’, skittles, and family and team challenges. There is a place for youth to hang out with giant games like Jenga, chess and checkers, a Christmas quiz and lots of prizes. Every night there will be fun on the sports arena at 7.30pm. A fabulous space for youth!

Tea, Coffee and Christmas Cake

Come to the Townsville Catholic Education Raintree Grove, a beautiful natural space under the trees to shelter in the evening breeze and enjoy the return of our free tea, coffee and Christmas cake.

The Yarning Circle

The Yarning Circle is an exciting new unifying space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will share Christmas, their faith and their culture in an interactive way through music, art, dance, weaving and storytelling. A place for barriers to break and understanding to grow.
