Who we are and what we do

The Stable is a cherished Christmas Festival in Townsville, running for 23 years and attracting over 32,000 attendees across five nights from December 18th to 22nd at Riverway. Central is the Town of Bethlehem with animals, actors, authentic sets and heaps of interactive activities such as carpentry, baking, dancing and fishing.

 Also featuring: Food trucks, entertainment across various performance areas, free tea, coffee and Christmas cake, face painting, youth activities, free photo booth, side show alley and so much more.

Special entertainment 2024 includes JCAction Sports, Ollie Witney – aerialist,  Be Still Living Statues sponsored by DPM water, Calvary Christian College Stable Express, Performer  Joel Wiggins.

    seniors and those with disabilities 
    sponsored by Avanti Health Centre

  • Thursday 19th   Centrecare Night of Hope

  • Friday 20th Cultural Night

  • Saturday 21st Christmas Markets

  • Sunday 22nd our final night will be a blast!!!

 

Open to all ages and backgrounds, The Stable provides a free, inclusive, and immersive event that brings the community together to celebrate the joy of Christmas.
